Anorexia Nervosa. No doubt you’ve heard of it. It’s the eating disorder that plagues the teenage women of today.
In the quest to lose weight, and maintain thinness, some young women have resigned to drastic measures such as starving themselves, often becoming malnourished and sickly. What I hope to inform you on in this article is the signs that you or a loved one may be suffering from this potentially deadly disease.
I have wasted countless hours of my life watching TV, and the idea that television is “an opiate of the masses” is probably not far from the truth. That being said, I’m no snob and get hooked into shows just like anyone else. Of all of the shows I’ve watched in my life Seinfeld was truly the one that got me through some dark hours in my life, and the show continues to be a big part of my life years later in syndication.
You may have heard the term Corporate Identity (C.I.) before, yet never found out exactly what it meant, and more importantly; how it could impact your business.
C.I. incorporates logos, colours, themes, slogans and music. It helps to develop brands and raise consumer awareness of your business and your products/services. Good examples of C.I. in action are the advertisements for Mc Donald’s Restaurants.
The colours red and yellow that exist in their logo also exist as a theme for their advertisements; the “I’m Lovin’ it” theme tune is also played (on radio and television). Regardless of which media Mc Donald’s choose as an advertisement platform the logo and corporate colours stay the same, this summons instant brand recognition to whoever may be looking at the advertisement.
One of the most talked about and controversial issues that we face today are immigration.
Immigration in general is something I am very passionate about, for many reasons.
First off, my family has been through the immigration process and knows first hand the process,
Time, money, heartache, stress and financial burdens that can take its toll on you and your family.
Many people do not understand immigration, they only know what they hear on the radio or read in the
Sunday paper. But in all reality it goes way deeper then that. Its not as simple as most people think. Especially when it comes to more complex issues such as illegal immigration which is a whole other article in itself.
