Siberian Tiger

No comment - Post a comment

Siberian Tiger is the largest cat on earth. It lives in a remote corner of Siberia.

Residing in the Conifer and Broadleaf forests east of the Amur
River, the Siberian Tigers are solitary cats that enjoy a relatively
undisturbed ecosystem devoid in large parts of human activity.
Occupying huge territories of up to four thousand square miles, these
Amur Tigers are often on the move, covering large distances in search
of prey in their isolated wilderness. One Siberian Tiger was once
recorded to cover over six hundred miles in the space of three weeks in
search of food. The great cat hunts a variety of animals including
moose, roe deer, sika deer, musk deer and goral, though red deer and
wild boar form the bulk of its diet.

Abyssinian is a shorthair feline. It is said to have been brought
from Africa to England in the nineteenth century and bred selectively
thereafter, though there is no conclusive supporting evidence in this
regard. And even as experts consider the Abyssinian to be an ancient
cat, there are conflicting opinions as regards its origin. Many believe
it was a wild cat originally owing to similarities in its markings with
the African Wild Cat.

Whales are the largest of all animals. Here is some information regarding these amazing mammals.

The biggest of all animals, Whales are divided
into two suborders: Mysticeti meaning Baleen Whales and Odontoceti or
Toothed Whales. Baleen Whales are larger and have a baleen, a sieve
like structure that filters the small fish that they consume, from
water. Toothed Whales have teeth that they use to consume fish and
squid. They are also known for their ability to emit sounds and use
them to navigate and forage, a phenomenon known as Echolocation. Whales
produce the loudest sounds amongst animals and often vocalize songs
that may last for as long as half an hour, possibly to communicate,
track offsprings, locate prey or attract mates.
